A quick overview about Kiteless Dragon
Kiteless Dragon got his start as a fur back in 1995 as "SexyDragon". in 1999 he started dragonspot.net and the forums that lived there. In 2001 he attended his first full forru convention at Further Confusion in the San Francisco Bay Area. 6 months later he moved from Southern California to the San Francisco Bay Area, wanting to be around more furs, and loving the cooler weather. Essentially starting a new life, he found himself compelled to be in staff at Further Confusion helping to found the FCTV (Further Confusion Television) with a small core group of furs as the primary editor. Several years later he was asked to host the FC Masquerade, the next year he hosted the Masquerade and Furry Night Live (Now called FC: Unleashed). Knowing that the old name SexyDragon would be silly on a stage infront of hundreds of furs, he changed his name to Kiteless. The name Kiteless comes from an Underworld Song called "Juanita & Kiteless, to Dream of Love." To this day Underworld is his favorite electronica group. He hosted both of those events 2 years in a row, then passed the torch and continued to host the Masquerade for 2 more years.
Back in 2007 Kiteless felt that dragons were not represented enough in the furry community, especially in con programming. He complained about it to some friends and they said he should do something about it. Kiteless hosted the first ever "Adult Dragon Panel" in January 2008. It was basically a laptop hooked to a projector and we showed art with artists that drew them. The audience loved it. The next year Kiteless felt that it should be a lot more organized and decided that a prebuilt presentation would be best.
Currently Kiteless still lives in the San Francisco Bay Area trying top have fun and get through life. He stays very busy with various hobbies including radio controlled cars, planes and helicopters, video recording & editing, youtube content creation, photography, computers and video games. He also stays busy with FC Staff duties and his mate/partner Reveille.
